The Clock by Brunelleschi

Clocks have been around for along time. We today have the luxury of knowing what time it is all the time, in fact our entire world is based on time. We take advantage of what we really do have. At one time people didn't know what time it was all the time because there were no portable clocks. The portable clock was first introduced by the architect,Filippo Brunelleschi in 1410. These clocks were developed by Filippio in the great city of Florance, Italy.The idea that Filippio had was to be able to have a spring- driven clock to carry around with you at all thimes of the day.
